UAE: your checks, and your emirate's own rules
Dubai and Abu Dhabi do not ask for quite the same things. Paco opens the checks that apply in your emirate and names the authority behind each one.
A federal frame, with per-emirate variation
The Sep 2018 Fire and Life Safety Code covers fire at the federal level. Electrical checks, water tanks, food, tourism licences and pools belong to each emirate: they are not Civil Defence refinements of the same code. The catalogue follows that split. Paco covers Dubai and Abu Dhabi today.
- Detection, alarm, Hassantuk and the Civil Defence certificate
- Electrical installation (DEWA / DoE), LPG and water tanks
- Food permits, tourism, legionella, pools, HVAC (examples, not the full list)
- Lifts: Cabinet Resolution 31/2014 and Dubai TG48 (not the Fire Code ITM)
The same refusal to guess, in English or Arabic
A report in English or Arabic follows the same path as a French one. A scanned report in Arabic only is read by character recognition. Every value has to exist in the source text, and a doubt becomes a question for you instead of an approximate deadline.
Common questions
Is processing done in the UAE?
No. Your documents and your list of checks are stored in the European Union, in Germany, and Mistral reads them in the EU. Once you pay, the chat of a hotel outside the EU runs on Claude (Anthropic, in the United States), unless you choose Mistral. During the preview, the chat runs on Mistral. The safeguards are described in the privacy policy. If that location is a problem, let us discuss it before you start.
