Ready for an inspection? Your list answers.
Every check you owe, with the next due date, the evidence from the last visit and the text behind it. One list that stays current on its own, with no spreadsheet.
Every check traces to a text, not to a habit
Intervals are not typed from memory. They come from a regulatory catalogue per jurisdiction, and each line carries the reference that justifies it, so an inspector's question is answered on screen.
- Annual electrical check, art. 3 of the order of 26 December 2011
- Annual fire alarm check, art. MS 73 §2 of the order of 25 June 1980
- Gas: annual in categories 1 to 4, every two years for a hotel in category 5
- Each date says where it comes from: a report, typed by hand, worked out, or not recorded
The law is a floor, not a schedule
When a maintenance contract states a longer interval than the regulation, Paco does not silently accept it. The conflict is raised, because a company cannot extend a deadline the law sets.
- A contractual interval shorter than the law is kept
- A longer interval triggers a review
- How the property is classified changes some intervals
Give the date of the visit. Paco shows the list as it will be that day.
The safety commission, Civil Defence, a brand audit or the insurer: you often know the date weeks ahead. Paco reads your list as of that day. A check due before the visit already shows as late. A check with no proof stays without proof. Nothing is projected beyond what is on file.
- What will be late on that day, to book now
- For the return visit: the problems fixed, in hand, to check, and the ones nobody has taken yet
- The date comes from you; Paco never proposes one
Common questions
Does Paco decide whether I am compliant?
No. It keeps the list, shows the deadlines and gathers the evidence. Judging compliance belongs to the safety commission and the operator. Regulatory suggestions are a data-entry aid, not legal advice.
What if a check does not apply to my property?
What you declare at signup (country, region, type of property and, in France, its category) determines which checks open. In France, a category 5 property does not open the same checks as a category 2 one. If a check still does not apply, you can remove it and give the reason.
